Why Take the Trimix Diver Course?
If you’re drawn to the unexplored edges of underwater exploration—depths beyond 60 m / 200 ft—this course is your next step. These advanced dives demand more than just experience; they require a resilient mindset, precise gas planning, and mastery of multiple decompression strategies.
Many of the most exciting, uncharted dive sites remain inaccessible to divers limited by air or normoxic trimix. Becoming a certified Trimix Diver allows you to safely go deeper, opening doors to exploration, scientific projects, and discovery-driven missions.
This course is designed for highly motivated divers who are ready to commit to the highest level of training in open-circuit deep diving.
Who Is It For?
The Trimix Diver Course is designed for experienced technical divers seeking to expand their depth range and enhance their proficiency in managing complex gas mixes, including hypoxic trimix and multiple decompression gases.
This course prepares divers to conduct dives to 100 m / 333 ft, using three or more decompression/stage cylinders while maintaining safe decompression practices and efficient gas management under high-pressure environments.
You should already be fully confident in technical dive procedures, buoyancy, equipment handling, and team protocols.
What Will I Learn?
You’ll develop the skills and knowledge needed to plan and execute deep trimix dives, including:
- Planning and conducting dives to 100 m / 333 ft
- Use of hypoxic trimix and helium-rich breathing gases
- Handling multiple stages and decompression cylinders (3+)
- Gas switching, gas management, and oxygen exposure protocols
- Extended and accelerated decompression strategies
- Dealing with omitted decompression and in-water problem solving
- Dive planning, failure management, and team coordination at depth
The course blends theory, land-based skills, and in-water practice to build a solid foundation for extreme-depth diving.
