Why I Created This System
After countless deep and demanding dives, I was surprised to find that no convenient options existed for properly sealing and maintaining rebreather scrubbers and head units between dives. So, I decided to create my own.
This kit provides a safe, efficient way to:
- Keep the scrubber sealed and moist, preventing exposure to atmospheric CO₂
- Dry the head unit safely, protecting sensitive oxygen sensors
- Hold the canister upright, making Sofnolime refills clean and easy
Thoughtfully Designed for Real-World Use
The upper canister caps and headcover utilize a custom threaded attachment that securely holds the canisters and head unit in place. This design keeps your scrubber media warm and moist while allowing the head unit to air-dry properly.
The canister stand makes it easy to refill Sofnolime by keeping the canister stable and upright—no more awkward balancing acts or risk of tipping.
